Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Aerotree Flight & Services Sdn Bhd (AEROTREE) today announced its involvement in a Strategic Business Partnership between AEROTREE and EHang Holdings Limited – Nasdaq: EH (EHang) to Jointly Develop Urban Air Mobility (UAM) in Malaysia.
AEROTREE is a wholly Malaysian company that spearheads several local management transportation infrastructure concessions, announcing that the company has entered into a strategic partnership with EHang, the world’s leading international autonomous aerial vehicle (“AAV”) technology platform. Both parties will promote, develop and implement AAV operations to offer UAM solutions, such as passenger transportation, aerial sightseeing, aerial firefighting, and aerial logistics, jointly and efficiently in Malaysia.
The first unit of EH216 one unit as an initial purchase and has committed to pre-orders for 60 units of UAM AAVs including the EH216 series and the VT30 aircrafts as marking the largest pre-order EHang has received in Malaysia. Through this strategic partnership move, AEROTREE is expected to establish the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (“MRO”) Center, and Training Center for EHang in Malaysia.
